A Logistician may be working in any area of logistics, such as buying materials, warehousing, inventory control, transportation or quality control. Processing customer orders for accuracy, picking or storing stock in a warehouse, conducting inventory of materials and stock, selecting transportation modes and carriers, and operating a warehouse.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN (1 yr Certificate) Palo Alto College Applies scientific, technical, and communication skills and knowledge to specific tasks regarding environmental protection and natural resource management. They interpret environmental regulations and monitor or evaluate environmental impact of hazardous materials policies and storage, handling and disposal procedures. They collect samples of air, soil, water, and also collect samples from suspected toxic substances for analysis.
